DMCA
TechTreasurers respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our website, https://techtreasurers.com/, to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have established the following policy for addressing copyright infringement claims.
If you believe that your copyrighted material has been used on our website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please follow the procedures outlined below.
1. Filing a DMCA Notice
To notify TechTreasurers of an alleged copyright infringement, please provide a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent. Your notice should include the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are involved, please provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material that you believe is infringing, including a description of where it is located on our website. Providing specific URLs is helpful.
- Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Please send your DMCA notice to the following contact:
Email: contact@techtreasurers.com
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will investigate and take appropriate actions, including removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material if necessary. We may also notify the user responsible for the content in question.
2. Counter-Notification
If you believe that the content removed or disabled by TechTreasurers as a result of a DMCA notice was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification. To do so, please provide the following information:
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
- Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district where you are located if outside the United States) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Please send your counter-notification to:
Email: contact@techtreasurers.com
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the content unless the copyright owner files a court action against you within ten (10) business days of receiving the counter-notification.
3. Repeat Infringers
TechTreasurers reserves the right to terminate user accounts and access privileges of individuals who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
4. Misrepresentation
Please note that any person who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that removed material was not infringing, may be liable for damages.
